Micheal sat in his command chair looking over the various readings that Rebecca's sensors were pulling in. Shortly after they left the Vengeance, he had activated Shadow Drive, cloaking them from any prying eyes. One of the many tenants of being a scout, is to remain undetected.

So, here they were, cloaked, running at warp three, about three days from the Talaxian homeworld.

Kaleigh was glad they were going alone, Daphne was safe on the Vengeance and the things they may need to do... were not for their wards eyes. She had changed out of her uniform and into clothing like those in the delta quadrant wore. She stepped up to her husband's side and looked out the viewport. "How long?" She asked.

Micheal looked up at his beautiful wife and smiled. "At this speed, still three days out. Any faster, and we risk detection."

“Are there any outposts or such we can stop at on our way?” She asked curiously.

"Rebecca?" He asked aloud as he reached out and gently pulled Kaleigh down to sit in his lap.

Their A.I.'s avatar popped into being. "Mistress, my long range sensors are picking up a single Starbase, roughly two point seven-three light minutes from our current location and speed."

Kaleigh looked at Micheal. “Always best to have some intelligence before we head in. And it might be best to blend in a bit more. Look less Terran.”

Nodding as he looked into Kaleigh’s eyes, he replied. “Well, I already fit that bill, sweetheart.” he chuckled softly as he continued. “Unless you know any other Terrans who look as handsome as I do?”

“Hmm no but you are still Terran in the face” she whispered. “Maybe we should make you look more, and here I shudder, Klingon?”

His right eye grew a bit larger in mock shock. “My good woman! You wound me!” He closed his eye and faked being knocked out.

“You will be more menacing that way my love” she whispered “And they may mistake you for Kazon, to their detriment. Rebecca can alter me to look like one of the slave races back home.”

Micheal lifted his head and looked intently at Kaleigh’s face for a few moments. He then stated, “If I’m going to a ridgehead, only fair that Rebecca makes you into a Bajoran.”

Her lips curved at that. “I am okay with that My love.”

He grinned at her, then looked over at Rebecca’s avatar. “How long would you need to alter our appearances in the infirmary?”

The AI considered it. “About 30 minutes for both of you.” she said “I was able to update our medical facilities while aboard the Vengeance”

“You are truly a marvel, Rebecca!” Micheal replied happily. “Were you able to update any other systems while we were there?”

“Targeting and Weapons.” the AI replied. “Master yours will take the longest, shall I start with Yours?”

The warrior in him growled softly, hearing their weapons and targeting systems had also been updated. It meant that he would be more able to protect his family from the dangers that were out here.

Looking from Kaleigh, back to Rebecca, he sighed softly. “Normally, I’d say Ladies first. However, I suppose I should go first.” He then looked back at Kaleigh and kissed her gently. “I guess that means that I should let you get back up?”

“Hmm yes now go be a good patient for Rebecca,” she slid from his lap. “You can have your fun with your Bajoran slave later,”

He growled hungrily at her. “Mmmmm, I look forward to that, my love.” He reached out and took hold of her bottom jaw, gently to be sure, but with enough force to get her attention. “I hear that Klingons are brutal with their slaves. Be sure to give me no reason to punish you too heavily, my pet.”

Kae’s eyes gleamed and she tossed her head. “Hmmm we will see.” she taunted. “Rebecca, will do a good job I am sure.”

Micheal grinned at his lovely wife. Then, as he was passing by, he placed his right hand gently on her growing belly. “For both of our children, Daphne and this little one, I will do whatever I can to build them a powerful Empire to rule from, my Queen.”

She touched his face. “My King” she whispered to him. “Go.” and she took the seat he vacated.

MIcheal dipped his head in acknowledgement. “Rebecca,” he said aloud as he made his way aft to their small, one-bed infirmary. “Time to make me look like an animal.”

The AI replied “Of Course Master, you will be the fiercest warrior, the Klingons would quail before you.”

As Micheal entered the infirmary, he removed his shirt and laid down on the biobed, finally seeing the improvements first-hand. “Very impressive, Rebecca. I commend you on your resourcefulness. How extensive will the altercations be? Afterall, no one here has ever seen a Klingon.”

“I will do enough that you are seen as definitely not a Kazon but not full Klingon, unless you wish me to Master? It would require sharpening your teeth and that will take longer..”

Micheal considered the options for a few beats. “Go ahead. Not only will it make me look more fearsome, they would be a good weapon hidden in plain sight.”

“Yes Master” The AI appeared beside him and when he was laying down, gave him a painkiller and got to work. 20 minutes later she had him transformed into a klingon, with his glowing red eye and sharpened teeth.

Sitting up, Micheal looked at his reflection in a nearby mirror. “Mmmm…completely hideous.” He then inspected his sharpened teeth. “Excellent work, Rebecca.” He was having to speak a bit slower, unused to his new teeth.

The AI beamed a smile. “You are welcome Master. She said. “Shall I get Mistress now?”

“Yes,” He replied, trying to speak more like a Klingon. He was starting to get inside the head of a lesser species. He then stood and put his back to the entrance, continuing to admire Rebecca’s work.

Rebecca vanished and returned a moment later as Kaleigh walked through the door with a small smile on her face. She stepped up behind Micheal and rested her chin on his shoulder as he looked into the Mirror. “Hmm Mighty Warrior indeed, Klingons should look so fierce.”

MIcheal turned slowly towards Kaleigh. As he did so, he gave her a dangerous snarl, revealing some of his new teeth. “Remember your place, Terran scum! Or I will be forced to teach you some manners!”

Kaleigh smirked “Hmmm sounds like fun. But after Rebecca has changed me into your Bajoran slave,” she brushed her lips over his gently. “Like the teeth” she teased.

He grinned. “Should I keep them? Or do you think that it wouldn’t go over well, back in Ivan’s presence?”

“Hmm we shall have to think about it. We need to present the proper terran attitude there Love” She said as she climbed onto the bio bed. “Oh can you replicate a Bajoran earring please, artiste Caste.”

MIcheal nodded. “Coming right up, my Love.” he then gently touched her hand as he left the Infirmary. He made his way aft to the galley and activated the replicator. After doing a quick search, he found a selection of earrings that were on file from that particular caste. He scrolled through them and picked the one that spoke to him. He then picked up the delicate piece of jewelry and sat down at their family dining table. While there, he pulled his shirt back on over his head.

A short time later, Kae joined him; her nose was now Bajoran and she was braiding her hair back from her face as she walked.

Micheal looked up at her and looked at her face intently. “It’s amazing how even something so minor as a few nasal ridges can really change so much.” He stood and moved up to stand in front of her. Reaching up, he carefully attached her earring, completing her disguise. “While I am not interested, as a whole, in Bajoran women…You would definitely be the exception to that rule.” He reached up and gently caressed her face. “You blow me away, no matter what species you look like, my love.”

She pressed her lips to the palm of his hand . “Thank you my love” she said back softly. “So Master, shall we go see what Intelligence we can gather? And maybe, we should think about spreading some rumors of the Imperial Empire.”

He smiled and nodded. “Those Imperial swine…they are always trying to take over everything! It’s a good thing that they have an entire armada coming soon. No military power in this entire region would be able to stand up to their might!” He looked down at her and grinned sheepishly. Well…as sheepishly as one could with a mouthful of sharp teeth.

“How’s that? Too much?”

“Perfect as always Master” she simpered and then said “You will need to change into local clothing though.” Kaleigh studied his clothes. “Change the shirt and grab a trench coat.”

“Aww,” he groused playfully. “And here I thought I’d get to go full Klingon garb, leather and animal furs.” he chuckled softly at his little joke.

“You can if you wish,” Kae smiled. “Might make more of a statement...”

Micheal grinned. “I won’t lower myself to smell like one, though. Afterall, I do still want you to want to do nasty things with me.” He gave her another cheeky grin, then lowered it some to ask her. And will you stay in these local clothes, or change to something more Bajoran?”

She considered it. “Bajoran clothing is a lot like the local customary only brighter, I do not want to stand out that much Master”

“True,” he agreed. “Your beauty is stunning enough.” He looked over at Rebecca. “Please replicate the appropriate Klingon garb for a Captain. Sleeveless, and with the various insignia and weapons, to include the bat’leth.” He looked down at Kaleigh and grinned. I mastered it’s use while fighting the Klingons, before I became Ivan’s bodyguard.”

Rebecca nodded and soon the required items appeared on the table before them. “Is this sufficient Master?”

Looking over at the replicated weapons, Micheal reached down and picked up the bat’leth. After flipping it a few times, he held it loose in his hands, weighing it against his muscle memory. ‘Too light. Please add another…mmmm…two and half kilos in weight.” He placed it back on the table and reached for the d’ktang, holding it up and pressing the hidden switch which opened the claw blades. “Very nice, you even put some wear marks in the alloy.” He closed the blade and resheathed it, then looked over the rest of the assembled gear.

Rebecca nodded and a few moments later the weapons reappeared. “Master this has been completed.”

Micheal rehefted the Klingon sword. “Yes….” he replied happily. “Perfectly done, Rebecca. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think this was forged by the hand of a master weaponsmith. Thank you. You do always amaze me.”

“Thank You Master, it is my job to make sure things are perfect” The AI replied before vanishing.

“Yeah she likes you a lot” Kae teased him

Looking over at Kaleigh, he lowered his right eyelid to a slit. “You behave, young lady. Or I will be forced to put you over my knee and spank you.”

“After.” She smirked at him. “After we do our recon, I promise. You can do whatever you wish My King.”

Micheal chuckled at her. “Very well. Get ready for approach to the station, while I get dressed, Slave.”

She flashed him a smile and headed to the cockpit to bring them in.

A few moments later, Micheal entered the cockpit, looking every nit a fearsome Klingon warrior and starship captain. “Report!” he barked, trying to get into his role better, foul attitude and all.

“We have been cleared to dock at docking port 34. Rebecca has us disguised as a freighter of unknown origin.” Kae reported politely though her lips were twitching with mirth.

“My warship is not a lowly freighter!” Micheal snarled. “She is a vicious warbird, worthy of song!”

Kae snickered. “Sometimes you have to pretend to get your prey Master”

Turning to face Kaleigh, He retorted. “You are right there. I lured you in as a lowly Terran. Now you see my true form!” He held his strong pose for a few beats, then broke down laughing.

She laughed and then turned back to complete the docking procedure. “Atmosphere looks good, breathable. Which is a good sign” she said as the shuttle bumped up against the docking port.

“Rebecca, keep all systems on standby. Get whatever info you can, and keep a transporter lock on us both. However, your primary rescue target will be Kaleigh. Understood?”

“Yes Master”

Kae spun her chair around. “Micheal?”

He held up his hand to stop her in her statement. “Not up for negotiations, sweetheart. I know you can defend yourself in a fight. However, you are now also carrying our first born. I will not allow anything to happen to either of you. If it comes down to it, Rebecca will save you and the baby before me.”

She stood and looked like she was about to argue the point. “Then you best stay close because you are the best and I want you with me to raise our children”

Micheal stepped forward and lifted his hand to just under her chin. “My love…Fate couldnt take me when she threw me to another galaxy. You are stuck with me for the rest of your life. Besides,” he lowered his hand and puffed out his chest. “Who could possibly best a half Klingon , half cyborg?”

Kae smirked up at him “I don’t know, but I do not want to risk it okay?”

He softened slightly and nodded. “As you wish, my love. I will be as careful as I can.”

She picked up a trench coat and swung it on. “Lets go”
