Personality & Traits
General Overview | A brutal and rather direct Terran man who was born into the work camps of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, the son of pacifist Reformists who rejected their teaching and embraced the violence of his blood | |
Strengths & Weaknesses | Corvin possesses a rather steady hand and has a casual ease when it comes to violence stemming from his harsh childhood in both KCA work camps and Klingon blood pits. He was forced to kill in the work camps to protect himself and his family, he was trained to kill as a gladiator in the blood pits of his former Klingon masters. As such he will not hesitate to take a life and even takes his own pleasure in the act - especially if it is a non-Terran. He is an unsophisticated individual who is brutishly direct and stubbornly determined, though it gives him a certain affable charm when he wants. Though he has few close friends, which stems from his childhood as the son of Reformists - the disgraced followers of Spock's peace minded and failed democratic reforms of the Empire. He views anyone who claims to be a pacifist as being weak, naïve and only worthy of a slave's collar. To those that earn his loyalty, its a bond that little besides outright betrayal could break and has been referred to as a "useful hound". From his time as a scav in the Cardassian work camps, he's developed some hoarding tendencies, hiding caches of supplies. He is an unabashed Terran supremacist, looking down on any non-Terran species a little better than slaves who need to be shown their place. |
|
Ambitions | Corvin's a simple man with simple tastes. It isn't that he doesn't have any ambition, but he finds satisfaction in his work and position, he had all the power that he could want. He knows his place and he's more than willing to be the knife in the had or the hound that runs the pray to ground. |
|
Hobbies & Interests | Weapons. He is obsessed with weapons from his time as a Klingon pit fighter and he loves new kit, learning everything he can about it and using that knowledge to help improve Terran technology. He has taken to making moonshine and plans to become better at making it but so far is hobby that he's making slow improvements at. |
Personal History | He was born on the KCA Irinarg, to his reformist parents who still held true to the message of peaceful co-existence and unification that Spock promoted, which ultimately lead to the fall of the first Terran Empire. He grew up hard and quick, learning to defend not only himself but his pacifist parents who refused to fight back against the other Terrans who would just come and take from them. He was never without a shiv and he only made a handful of people he might have called friends before he was taken out of the Cardassian slave pits and given to the Klingons. He became a pit fighter, tenaciously fighting against whatever opponent was set against him and even earning the begrudging respect of his masters for his unwillingness to die. His freedom came when a Terran strike force laid waste to the Klingon colony he was being housed on, released by the Terran forces and brought back to Earth where he eventually was accepted into the Imperial Academy and working his way up to Chief Petty Officer and Master-At-Arms aboard the ISS Vengeance. |
