Andrei had been working hard, putting in the extra hours, and planned to do so until the ship was repaired. He had done many favors and was covered in sweat, kneeling under an open panel which lead to the port-dorsal phaser strip. He had long-since stripped off his uniform jacket and golden shirt as he was rather warm. Just when everything seemed to be going perfectly for him, his father went and got them stranded halfway across the galaxy. His prospects were gone and, for now, all he had left was his work and an expanded set of duties.
He was thinking on his troubles, brooding within his mind, while he rearranged wires. He was so focused that he didn't notice he was alone.
Revana stepped into the room and approached the long-haired man laying on his back in just a beater and admired him for a few moments. She stepped up so that his feet were between hers and gave a playful grin.
"You know, you're the only officer I've seen who isn't flanked by six noncoms doing all the real work for him." she said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Does that include you?" he asked, looking down at her and giving a slight smile before returning his attention to what he was doing.
“Oh please. I don’t follow after anyone. They follow me.” She said, angling her hips and head in a way that suggested attitude.
“Is that so?” He asked, twisting his arm slightly to get a wire into place.
“We’ll, this is exactly the sort of riveting banter J was hoping for from you, Andrei Petrov.” She said sarcastically, watching him work.
“I’m busy, Revana, if you hadn’t noticed.” He said, his tone indifferent. “I had to rewire this entire section of phaser array.”
“Well, to be Frank, I think your time is better spent paying attention to me.” She said, kicking his foot. They had enjoyed the chase for quite a while now, flirting back and forth, one person showing interest and the other pretending to be disinterested in alternating patters. It was a real turn on for her, but she was starting to want to catch her prey.
“I didn’t know your name was Frank.” He said in a distant jovial tone. “Hi, Frank, I’m Andrei!”
“I can’t even believe you right now.” She said, grinning. “You want everyone to think you’re so cool and charming, but your a huge dork.”
“Is that why you like me so much, Frank?” He asked, pulling himself out of the panel. “Or is it because you can’t pin me down.”
He looked at her now with challenge and interest, his eyes boring into hers.
“Do you want me to pin you down?” She asked, her face the same cold seriousness that made him crazy. She angled her body with the practiced movements of Orion training, accentuating her already stunning curves. He was careful to look only into her eyes. It was like they were in a battle of wits of some sort. “Because I know you’d love it if I..pinned you down.”
“Prove it.” He said, still unflinching. “Take your panties off.”
She smiled, her fingers finding the outline of her underwear over her uniform skirt. She seemed to be pulling at them for a moment, but then stopped.
“No, Andrei Petrov. Not until you beg.” She said, watching as he stood up to his full height, admiring the contour of his body through his sweaty beater.
“I don’t beg, love.” He said, leaning in and stealing a quick kiss. A shock of electricity went through both of them both. “Now, are you here to help me or just to tease me with that look in your eye?”
She blinked at the sudden kiss and fell back into a relaxed position, her hormones surging. She looked at his project and gave a hard and smoldering expression.
“Both. Where can I start in this dump?”
